Here's how to cook a perfect piadina romagnola! Follow our video!
 
Heat our Testo Romagnolo for at least 2 minutes, without greasing it. When it is hot, lower the heat a little and place the piadina on top. Cook the piadina for about 1 minute, turning it every 15 seconds to get the perfect cooking. Remember that if you prefer it a little crispier, just increase the cooking time

Choose your favorite fresh ricotta cheese and season it with chives, a dash of extra virgin olive oil, salt and pink pepper. Marinate the smoked salmon with lime and orange juice for at least half an hour. Cook your Riccione Piadina IGP on our Testo Romagnolo and cut it into squares and create tasty layers of ricotta and marinated salmon. Garnish at the end with a red currant to give the perfect acidity and a touch of color to the dish!

Spring is here and brings with it the scent of trees in bloom, the joy of long days with that sun that warms the heart, and leads us to enjoy days outdoors, surrounded by the nature.
Among the most beautiful gifts of spring, there are strawberries, with their passion red color, that adults and children love and that and enrich lunches, dinners, snacks and breakfasts.
Raise your hand if you've never eaten them with cream, maybe with melted chocolate on top! And now raise your hand if you have ever eaten them with a good hot piadina.

  1. Oh yes, strawberries match incredibly well with piadina, in a riot of flavor, a mix of sweet and savory that melts in your mouth. In order to prepare this unique delicacy, you only need a few minutes, so prepare all the ingredients and get ready to cook,we are going to reveal the secret of the fabulous, piadina with chocolate cream, whipped cream and strawberries!
  2. First, open the refrigerator and check that there are enough piadina for all your guests. Maybe even look to see if there is whipped cream. Choose your favorite chocolate cream (or hazelnut), as long as it is good and easily spreadable. For strawberries, however, use fresh ones, well ripe, possibly from farm-to-fork, otherwise those you find at your local supermarket.
  3. The only preliminary operations are the whipping of the cream (if you do not want to use the ready-made one) and the cutting of strawberries. You can cut them into thin slices, but also in pieces, the important thing is that they are not whole.
  4. At this point you can already heat a Riccione Piadina on the Testo (or a non-stick frying pan or plate) for about a minute, turning it every 15 seconds. Once cooked, remove it from the Testo, and place it on a flat support, such as a cutting board, to stuff it as best you can. Take the chocolate cream and spread it (you can use our Leccapiadina) evenly over the entire surface, then add the whipped cream and strawberries to taste.
  5. You can roll the piadina, or fold it or serve it as if it were a pizza, cutting it into wedges with a wheel. In this case, we recommend that you creatively stuff it, as in the photo. If you like, you can add toasted pine nuts or a mint leaf.
  6. This Fabulous piadina is ready to be enjoyed with friends! It's perfect for a snack but also as a dessert at the end of a lunch or dinner.
